As I’ve mentioned before, ice cream was/ will probably continue to be one of my vices while away at school. Needless to say, when we studied Ben & Jerry’s in my international business class (and consequently enjoyed a day of free Cherry Garcia, among other flavors) that class was solidified as my favorite of second semester.
I feel like this summer has been dragging… and simultaneously flying by.
Does that make any sense?
Nope, none whatsoever. (Maybe it’s the heat that’s frying my brain’s ability to be rational. Or maybe that just sounds like a semi-viable excuse.)
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe we’ve already discussed how much I
need enjoy my morning cup of coffee.
Last week, I was away from some of the comforts of home – my computer, TiVo (does that even count?), a kitchen, and freshly-brewed coffee.
I don’t mean to make it sound like there was no coffee to be found within a 50 mile radius – because there was. There was, however, no coffee to be found in said radius that cost less than $4 for an 8oz. serving.
What’s a girl to do when:
-College applications are looming in her mind.
-Her room is a mess.
-Her room needs to be cleaned.
-She wants to watch the remaining 13 episode of Criminal Minds that are saved on TiVo.
-But she can’t do that, because she need to finish those applications.
- . . . And clean her room.
-Can there be more than 24 hours in a day?
So again, I ask: What’s a girl to do?
Yesterday, I talked about ice cream. Strawberry ice cream.
I teased you about it. Showed you pictures. Made you salivate.
And that was mean of me. Just plain mean.
You probably went to bed last night thinking about that baby pink strawberry ice cream.
You probably laid in bed last night and dreamt about that baby pink strawberry ice cream.
You probably woke up this morning and wanted to hurt me, because of all of the above.
Well, I’m sorry. Really. Truly.
Believe me? Please?
